Operations Associate

Main Management is in search of an Operations Associate to support the Chief Operating Officer with fund accounting, investor reporting, compliance, and operational processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with investment operations or fund administration.  An ideal candidate is a proactive entrepreneurial associate with a passion for high-touch service. Training will be provided. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Support fund administration and accounting, including reconciliations and investor allocations  

  • Coordinate with administrators, auditors, tax professionals, and custodians for reporting  
  • Manage investor onboarding, subscriptions, redemptions, and KYC/AML documentation  
  • Prepare and distribute investor reports (monthly, quarterly, ad hoc)  
  • Assist with compliance, regulatory filings, and trade reconciliation  
  • Handle client account servicing and maintain accurate records  
  • Improve back-end operational processes and internal controls  
  •  Trading equites and options across multiple custodians

  • Experience in managing projects start to finish, with a strong ability to multi-task, solve problems, and operate under time constraints

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat 

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, finance, economics or a related field 
  • Basic understanding of the market and its conditions 
  • Prior experience or internship in finance, trading, or investment management is a plus
